Information we may collect
Personal Data, means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household and any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly.
We may collect and process certain Personal Data about you in a variety of circumstances, which we list below along with the legal basis on which we rely for validly collecting and/or processing the data in question:
Identity and Contact Data: Personal Data that you provide by filling in forms and using our Services, and which may be amended from time to time. This includes Personal Data provided at the time of registering to use our Services or for attendance at our events, subscribing to our Services, and posting material or requesting further Services, like your name, business address and contact information. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our sites or Services.
Transactional Data. We also collect commercial information from you, like the details of transactions you carry out through our sites and of the fulfilment of your orders when you use our Services.
Usage Data. We also collect usage information when you use our Services, like details of your visits to our sites including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
Tracking Data. When you visit our sites or use our Services, we may track your use of our sites by data enrichment and analytics tools to help us improve them and to market those products and services that are most relevant to you. This tracking includes, but is not limited to:
- tracking data about how you came to the relevant sites;
- the date and time of your visit;
- pages or subjects you viewed or searched for;
- page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction data (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.
Most of this data will not be connected to you as an individual.
Public Profile Data. We sometimes use reputable third-party data enrichment providers such as Bombora, who obtain Personal Data about you from publicly available sources and from other third parties who share your Personal Data with your consent. They then match this information against our own customer records.
How we collect your data
(a) Information You Provide When Using Our Services:
When you access our Services via HubSpot, HubSpot send some information about the user to us including the user's email address and HubSpot portal number so we are able to provide the Service
(b) Form submissions
We offer forms on our sites for the purposes of contacting the Company and subscribing to information.
(c) From a third party
From time to time, we may obtain certain Personal Data about you from third parties, including our trusted partnerships with service providers and where we operate accounts on third-party platforms, such as payment processors, CMS and CRM platforms, advertising networks, analytics and performance platforms and social media platforms. In the event that we obtain this Personal Data from a third party we will:
- enter into a contract with the applicable third party that complies with the requirements of GDPR;
- inform the individuals concerned of the transfer of their data to us, its source and the means by which they can exercise their rights under GDPR.
Use of cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device by the web browser of your device. We use cookies placed on your devices to collect data about your use of our sites and the Services. Sometimes we use the Personal Data you provide to us to identify you when you visit our sites or use our Services on different devices. The Legal Basis on which we Process Your Information
The UK GDPR requires all organisations that process personal data to have a “Lawful Basis” for doing so. The Lawful Bases on which we process your personal data are as follows:
Legitimate Interest: means the legitimate interest of us, HubSpot, and the HubSpot Account Owner, in our conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service and the best and most secure experience when using our services. The legitimate interests include provision of services that we are contractually obliged by the HubSpot Account owner to deliver to you; to provide and improve Services; to administer our relationship with you and our business; for marketing; and in order to exercise our rights and responsibilities. We make sure we consider and balance any potential impact on you (both positive and negative) and your rights before we process your personal data for our legitimate interests. We do not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted to by law). Performance of Contract: means processing your data where it is necessary for the performance of a contract between us and you as our HubSpot Account Owner customer, or to take steps at your request before entering into such a contract.
Legal Obligation: means processing your personal data where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation that we are subject to.
Where we store your personal data
The Personal Data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area[1] (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA working for us or for one of our suppliers. Those staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your Personal Data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy, and the requirements of the Act. For instance, any recipients of your Personal Data based outside the EEA that are not categorised by the European Commission as having adequate data protection legal and regulatory regimes must sign the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Uses made of the information
We use Personal Data held about you (and permit certain third party contractors and sub-contractors to use that information) in the following ways, all of which enable us to market our products and services to you and to ensure that we are able to perform legal and contractual obligations:
To ensure that content from our Services is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you;
To respond to your requests or feedback in written, electronic, or verbal form;
To manage our customer relationship with you;
To obtain payment for Services or products that we provide to you;
To analyse how you use our Services in order to enhance them and make them more relevant to you;
To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including, but not limited to, ensuring that third party contractors fulfil orders you have made and you thereby receive the service you have previously requested;
For verification of data lists and other information;
To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Services, when you choose to do so;
As part of our recruitment efforts and the employee application process;
For our internal business purposes, such as complying with our internal policies or business practices, project management, or improving the sites or Services;
As necessary to comply with legal requirements, to enforce our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, to prevent fraud, to co-operate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities, and to stop other prohibited, illegal, or harmful activities;
For purposes disclosed at the time you provide us your information or otherwise set forth in this Policy; and
To notify you about changes to our Services.
We may also use your data, or permit selected third parties to use your data, to provide you with information about goods and services which may be of interest to you and we or they may contact you about these by post, email or telephone.
If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means with information about goods and/or services similar to those in which you have previously expressed an interest.
HubSpot
Our services are integrated with HubSpot. We receive certain information from HubSpot as set out above . We do not share any personal information about you with HubSpot.
